Director of Program Services, Jane Smith |

 Jane Smith was appointed Director of Program Services effective October 16, 2012. Jane began work in vocational rehabilitation in 1987 as an assistant in the regional office in Bowling Green. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in 1997 and became a counselor that same year. She earned a Masters of Education with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Counseling from Auburn University in 2001 and she is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.

Assistant Director of Program Services, Holly Hendricks |

 Holly Hendricks began working as a counselor for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation in April of 2001. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with her Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling and became a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor in 2003. In 2005 she accepted the position of Program Administrator in the Program Planning and Development Branch. She has also served as Project Director for the Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker grant. Holly became Assistant Director of Program Services on September 1, 2010.

Director of Community Relations, Jason Jones |

 Jason Jones is the Director of Community Relations for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation in Frankfort. He was a four-sport athlete in high school before an accident involving the high-jump resulted in his becoming a quadriplegic. Jason has 10 years communications experience. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Mass Communications in 1998. He began his career as a journalist with assignments at the Lexington Herald Leader before becoming editor of Somerset’s Commonwealth Journal in 2002. He served on the Statewide Council for Vocational Rehabilitation for four years and came to state government in 2001. He has served as communication director for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, the Kentucky Business Leadership Network and the Kentucky Assistive Technology Loan Corporation and was appointed by Governor Steve Beshear to his current post in June 08.

Administrative Services Branch Manager, Mindy Yates |

 Mindy Yates has a bachelors degree from Berea College and a Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Kentucky. She has worked for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for 18 years. Nine of those years she was a rehabilitation counselor in Lexington, KY and 9 in a variety of administrative positions in the Central Office. Mindy also maintains her Certified Rehabilitation Counselor certificate.

Director of the Carl D. Perkins Vocational Training Center, Barbara Pugh |

 Barbara Pugh is a long time front line service provider who made the jump to Assistant Director of the Carl D. Perkins Vocational Training Center in the spring of 2005 and was officially appointed as the Director of the Carl D. Perkins Center in 2010. In addition to her years of service to Vocational Rehabiliation as a speech-language pathologist and rehabilitation technologist, she also worked in the Johnson County, Kentucky school system for several years.
